The Daily Praxis: Stay True to Form (Artistic)
Stay True to Form (Artistic) -
“Creativity is experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes, and having fun.” - Mary Lou Cook
This week we’re checking back in on our Transformative Praxis Forms.
Today let’s dig into our Artistic Form.
Artistic Form is how change makers tap into their creativity. Creativity is a tool for increasing intercultural competence because the more we utilize our creativity the more able we are to think about things differently - this is crucial for transformation.
We don’t have to over-think creativity. If we’re natural visual or performing artists, great. AND there are many ways to channel and express our creativity; cooking, singing, playing music, coloring, crafts, etc. This form isn’t for the benefit of anyone else’s consumption or judgement.
Today, let’s challenge ourselves to practice the Artistic Form of our practice.
